Pondok Makan Indonesia is on the MICHELIN Guide’s Point of View. It is one of the best stalls in Singapore selling Malay cuisine. Some of the dishes include mee rebus, Tahu Goreng and gado-gado. The speciality is their satay which you can choose between, chicken, beef and mutton. With the roasted satay with the crispy meat and juice is something that you will not forget on top of the barbecue smell.

Chomp Chomp Satay

Chomp Chomp Satay is on the MICHELIN Guide’s Point of View. Customer can choose pork, chicken, mutton satay which is served in crunchy satay sauce, or ketupat served with pineapple sauce.

Satay

Satay is a local Singaporean dish that evolved from the kebab which is a meat skewer from the Arab culture. In Singapore, bamboo skewers are used and the meat is cooked over a traditional charcoal fire or a griller. Satay sauce is served as a dipping sauce which is made up of sweet and spicy peanut sauce, coconut milk and a variety of spices. Ketupat which is Compressed steam rice in Malay is served in small cubes wrapped in coconut leaves and served with the satay sauce with the satay.
