Nasi Lemak

Nasi Lemak is a popular Malay dish in Singapore. It is a hearty dish that is liked and craved by many Singaporeans. Nasi Lemak in English means rice.

The common features of Nasi Lemak is the distinctive aromatic rice fused with coconut milk and pandan leaves, fried chicken wing or fish, dried anchovies and the iconic sambal chill with a few cucumber slices. Since its adored by many  Singaporeans, there is also a Chinese version of Nasi Lemak where it comes can come with any side dishes like luncheon meat and curry vegetable.
