Singapore Musical Box Museum

Musical boxes were a popular icon of European culture in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Singapore was a key player in the evolution and development of musical boxes in South-east Asia during that time period, according to historical evidence.

The museum's goal is to educate the public about the history of musical boxes, from their ascent to decline to how they arrived in Singapore in the nineteenth century.
