Killiney Kopitiam opened in 1919 as "Kheng Hoe Heng Coffeeshop", it started as a small humble coffeehouse for breakfast selling warm beverages and bread toast, and freshly brewed tea and coffee.
Today the Coffeehouse has more than 100 outlets throughout Singapore and overseas. Still, the main outlet at Killiney Road has the best quality and taste.

Ya Kun is well known for it's traditional kaya with it's homemade recipe - jam made with coconuts and eggs, kaya is served added to toasted white bread with salted butter.
